The ATP website is providing loads of videos this week in celebration of the Barclays World Tour Finals. Here’s an interesting interview with a veteran racket stringer, who is working this week with top guys like Rafael Nadal, Juan Martin Del Potro and (the surprisingly high maintenance) Nikolay Davydenko. I’m not an equipment geek, but I thought this was interesting.
After Kolya’s narrow loss to Novak Djokovic on Monday, he’s likely making those stringers work some overtime!

First, I saw WTF and instead of thinking World Tennis Federation, I thought the other WTF, lol. Immediately I wondered what could have inspired that headline, but NEVERMIND.
Next, thanks for keeping us up to date on the doings in London. I watched the Soderling/Nadal match today and wanted to tell Rafa to calm himself. But he already knew he was lacking calm and then when he got hornswoggled on that call at 40-30, 4-5 in the first set, well I knew that even luck was against him. Let’s hope that he plays better in his next match.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOGGGGGGGEEEERRRR!
He just won against Murray!!!!!!!!!!
@Pamala, you are not the only one, when I first saw saw “WTF”…I was like whooooa..WTF?? It’s actually World Tour Finals:-) Am I the only worried that Spanish players might go home without a win. Not a big boost for their Davis cup campaign.
