hi ff, totally understand. when we come home and the tv is turned on, husband sends me in the other room for fear of hearing a score or it being mid match for something i’m dvr-ing. i’ve been known to get a little annoyed when hearing scores or results from other people before i get to watch. my coach now knows to keep things hush hush, but i think he enjoys knowing scores before i do! he teases me about it, but at least he keeps quiet about results.

Hi Judy. I feel your pain, but unfortunately I can’t make that promise! Bloggers are slaves to the news cycle and if something timely happens, I want to be blogging about it. (That said, I’m often behind the curve due to my pesky non-tennis life getting in the way!)

I, too, have been known to avoid tennis sites like the plague when I have a good match waiting for me on my Tivo. I even snapped at a tennis partner once for revealing the results of the Melanie Oudin vs. Wozniacki US Open match before I got to watch it.

At least with Roger, it’s a pleasure for me to watch him even if I do know the result ahead of time. No need for added suspense!

i love that we have the tennis/rog esp going ff!

please try to post rog news after tc airs basel coverage daily since most of us will probably not follow it live. just a request, obviously please do what you think is best! incase you post sooner, i may have to avoid reading your blog until the next morning during the tourny! i’ve ruined it for myself in the past, finding out results before watching the tape delay.

yay! i’m thinking the maroon get up may act like camouflage (as the basel court is similar in color) and his opponents will have a hard time seeing where roger is, allowing him to kick even more ass.
