Verdasco, darling, I love you, but in some of these pictures you look like a pimp.
i can appreciate how hard he’s worked to be in shirtless shape, but as rafa would say, ‘this is ridiculous’ and fernando does nothing for me, since he seems to be very in to himself. the only time i saw him play up close, he basically tanked so that doesn’t help. as of late he ran out of hair product and stopped sporting the pompadour! how am i supposed to call him ‘hairdasco’ now?! (credit to husband for the funny term.)

I like him – in interviews he seems genuinely sweet and thoughtful. He doesn’t seem to be jaded. And it’s been cool to see him improve his game and – more importantly – his mental toughness over this past season.
true, the turnaround is pretty amazing. who could forget that epic match against nadal in the aussie open? he did all he could to help roger out.
