Yes, the production quality sucks, but who cares? It’s STEFAN EDBERG: talking, smiling and looking sweet enough to slurp up with a spoon.
Bonus: he has some interesting things to say about Roger Federer, the state of the game and the inevitable return of men’s shorty shorts.
Stefan knows his sportsmen. The ATP’s award for sportsmanship bears his name – an award that’s been bestowed on Roger Federer by his fellow players a record five consecutive times.
If this leaves you hankering for some Swedish shorty short action, here you go:

Short shorts? Oh I dunno … Andy Murray’s shorts were a tad shorter than usual at Wimbledon, and I wished they weren’t … and if del Potro wore short shorts, his legs would never end.
If we’re talking Roger or Rafa in short shorts? Oh yeth. Although I’m not sure if short shorts would be flattering for Rafa’s butt.
Then again, Rafa’s butt is probably flattering enough on its own.
DelPo in short shorts! YES! How about Dr. Ivo? People would pay extra to see that. . . .or maybe that’s just me?
Aaaaawww Stefan!! I thank him for getting me into tennis when I was in my very early teens. He played wonderfully! And he was such a sweetie. If players have legs as good as his, bring back the short shorts any time! I think Rafa would look gorgeous in them and his butt would be yummy. I had almost forgotten just how nice Stefan’s own legs and butt were, thanks for the tribute.

I’m glad I’m not the only one with fond childhood memories of the sweet Stefan! Definitely inspired me to watch tennis
You made my day, Freaky! There’s never too much Stefan, whether as his handsome charming and sweet modern self, or in short shorts. I’m glad I’m old enough (hah!) to have been able to see him play. And because sports fans have short memories, I’m glad his name will be always be connected to the trophy.
How great, handsome, modest, charming etc. is Stefan Edberg! He was one of my all-time favorite players — smooth and graceful on the court. It’s no wonder that he was one of Roger’s role models. It’s nice to hear his take on the modern game.
I wouldn’t mind seeing the short shorts come back. A lot of male players are in good enough shape to carry it off. The ones who aren’t can stick to the baggies. I also liked his reference to the Pro Staff — a racquet with a great combination of power and feel, but tough on the elbow. I still have one in my closet….
Interesting about the Pro Staff. He definitely made me want to go out and find one on ebay!
Maybe the ATP could have a “shorty shorts” poll on their website. We could all vote!
