My pick: I’m going for the artsy, enigmatic Venus, even though I think Serena is the all-around better player. I just like how Venus carries herself, especially on Centre Court (bonus: her dresses are cute.) Go Big Sis!

I’m more of a Venus type, although, Serena thinks Roger is hot (NYT “Attractiveness and Centre Court” article) and so do I:-)

I would have to agree with Alista..im TOTALLY a venus fan. Serena’s always been a little obnoxious for me. EVEN though im the youngest in my line of siblings. I like the calm, cool, and collected big sister Venus over Serena.
And that, in a nutshell, is EXACTLY how I feel about the siblings.
We Big Sisters have to stick together — my younger brother would slip well into the Serena role, even though he’s a middle-aged father. And I’ve always admired the elegance and power of Venus’s grass court game, her Garboesque carriage, and yes, her beauty. I’d be happy if she won Wimby for many years to come.
Of course I adore Serena too. Man, she was scary out there today!

Honestly I can’t choose. Venus is so endearing as a person, but Serena’s got so much charisma going on…. I would like Venus to win still, just because Venus Williams winning Wimbledon makes life … normal, but fabulous. Plus she needs to catch up on that grand slam tally.

I hope Venus wins, but I really want her to win another grand slam too. US Open would be a good one.
I’d never stop projectile vomiting if I was ever compared to either, Venus has gotten a little better, but Serena is the most arrogant, disdainful, self center, pain in the ass to ever mishit a tennis ball….that being said- I’d rather she win than Venus- Venus is getting too close to Marina’s record total and with zero talent out there to challenge the sisters on grass…she could do it…please Safina/Dementieva pull a miracle!!!!
Go Serena! It’s time she gets the recognition she deserves: she is NOT a mindless ball-basher, she actually has variety in her game (as Venus does) and is a class above the current crop of ball-bashers (Ivanovic, Safina et co)! I’ll be rooting for the lil sister, just anticipating her celebration to winning the trophy and the bound to be entertaining press conference is making me giddy!
