Also, bet365.com is streaming the entire championships live. Registration is free.
bet365.com is very decent, I watched many atp masters tournaments there. However, in the final of madrid open it wasn’t working, so I don’t depend on it for wimbledon, because matches with high demanding might not be streaming properly.
Thanks guys, I looked at bet365.com tennis streaming details and this is what it also points out:
“Please note that you must have a funded account in order to view Wimbledon streams.”
So i suppose if you are into tennis betting, this would be the ideal way to go.
Also i bet365.com doesn’t allow people in the US to register, because sports betting is “technically illegal” here.
So for EVERYONE else in the world bet365.com is totally fine, but for the US, no.
‘Funded account’? O_o weak.
I send an e-mail on espn360 Europe asking if the monthly pass covers the wimbledon tournament and they replied: We are sorry but we are not showing Wimbledon matches on our website. Thus I’m rooting for the wimbledon live service (24$).
wow that blows with ESPN360.com Europe…
i just signed up too for the $24 thingy..i needed a way to watch while I was at work. Now i just need to find a “boss” button so that when the boss comes around the corner, it will hide the stream..heh.
Nosuic or anyone else, if you find more sources, definitely let me know. i’ll post it up. More options the better for everyone really.
Here’s another option to check out. nowpublic.com/sports/watch-wimbledon-live-streaming
Don’t bother with Wimbledon Live unless you like watching jerky video that lags 5-30 minutes behind the audio. It’s appalling. Trying to get a refund now…
In desperation after NBC failed to show Federer’s semi-final in Paris, I checked his web site and was sent to fromsport.com, which has live streaming (maybe a 30-second delay) and is apparently free. There is a link to bet365, but I think they’re separate. You can turn off the chat, which is distracting, but I couldn’t find a way to make it full screen. It’s worth checking out.
