I think Rafa will be ready! He says the pain is already getting better and that he just needs rest – it’s not chronic. At least now he’ll have an excuse not to pound away on the hard courts this summer and should be ridiculously fit, ready and motivated at the Open. So the career slam this year is definitely still a possibility!
Of course maybe I’m being overly optimistic. I didn’t even think he’d pull from Wimbledon!

Yes, at Wimbledon the two players “camps” sit in the same box, with the higher seeded player getting the front row. I was looking forward to seeing what would happen this year in the final, if Uncle Toni and Co. would have kept their same seats or switched according to the seeding.
