Following in the footsteps of Roger and Mirka Federer, Andy Roddick and fiancee Brooklyn Decker will be taking it down the aisle this weekend. Deadspin reports that the wedding will take place in Austin, Texas, and feature a few celebrity guests:
The much anticipated serve-and-volley of nuptials between Andy Roddick and his smoking hot fiancée, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker, will take place next weekend <April 18 – 19> at an undisclosed location in Austin, Texas (Roddick grew up in Austin and now lives there). Elton John is among the expected guests, along with Roddick’s Davis Cup teammates James Blake and Mardy Fish-both of whom lost in the first round of U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championships in Houston earlier this week.
Looks like ever-lasting love is in the air this spring! (Cue Bambi and the frolicking woodland creatures.)

I live in Austin and I’m really hoping they don’t have their wedding at the country club because that would be boring.
Does Andy Roddick make the local news often in Austin?
He’s not really here alot, maybe 2 months a year, but he does have a charityball in November with Elton John, and his results are usually in the sports pages, which is amazing because tennis is not very popular here.

I’m just laughing at Elton John being at this wedding. I’m sorry, but Andy has always struck me as a bit of a jerk. And although Elton is a real queen – I really can’t wrap my mind around the two of them. Weird.
I think we might actually get some pics from this wedding. The bride’s a model, there will be sleb guests, and this is the US of A, not discreet Suisse.
I hope they will be very, very happy. And I hope it will help Andy’s game and ‘tude.

I think EJ is a big tennis fan and he’s helped Andy out with some of his charity events in the past. . .
