That would be Amer Delic, the Bosnian-American tennis player who took Djokovic to a fourth set tie break today. His face is pretty close to the World No. 2’s, but the Nike ensemble and one handed backhand make the similarity dang-right uncanny.
I’d like to see them play the Bryan Bros some day!

Ha HA! That’s very funny. Now I will look at Delic with fresh eyes. He could be as good as Roger, or at least in that eschelon, in a few years. Finally, an American hope!
Hi there freakyfrites! Been a long time. I was fast forwarding through the DVR recording, saw Delic and I stopped because I THOUGHT HE WAS FEDERER! I felt like the girl who mistakenly calls her guy by someone else’s name.
Venus was a disappointment. After the year end championship, I really thought she would have a good shot here, but no! Why does she never do well at the Australian … beats me.
Roger looked fantastic against Marat. You know who I’m backing to win the whole thing; I don’t need to tell you.
Hello!
HeyHeyHey, I don’t know about Delic’s longterm chances at success. This sounds awful, but the fact that he played in college makes me think no – in this day and age it seems that you have to know super young that you were born to win slams.
Alista! HI! Glad to have you back in the comments section – but sorry about Venus. I have no idea why Venus doesn’t play her best here – maybe it has to do with playing at night? Maybe it’s an all encompassing attitude – the fact that she “owns” Wimbledon and feels at her best there? Maybe it’s a biological thing – she just peaks in June for some reason. So many theories that point to one thing: she’s the closest the WTA has to a grass court specialist.
